Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Bonos handles information when you use Bonos services, including Bonos License Manager, AI Film Director, related authentication services, and connected production tools.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Bonos services that reference this policy, including Bonos License Manager and AI Film Director services operated through Bonos infrastructure.
When Bonos services are accessed through a third-party platform such as ChatGPT, that platform may separately process information under its own terms and privacy policies.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use the services, Bonos may process information required to provide authentication, licensing, security, and production functionality.

- Email address or other authenticated account identifier.
- Internal user or account identifiers.
- Authentication and authorization state.

AI Film Director project information
When you create or use an AI Film Director project, Bonos may process and store project information necessary to maintain the production workflow.
This may include:
- Film ideas and project titles.
- Project identifiers.
- Production mode and current production stage.
- Project state and continuity information.
- Characters, assets, locations, scenes, and related production information when those features are used.
3. OAuth and Connected Services
Bonos may use OAuth-based authorization to authenticate users and authorize access to protected services.
OAuth authorization allows supported platforms to access permitted Bonos tools without requiring users to provide Bonos credentials directly to those platforms.
Bonos does not require users to provide an OpenAI API key to Bonos License Manager for normal authentication and license validation.
Access tokens, authorization codes, sessions, and related authentication information may be processed as necessary to establish and protect authenticated connections.
4. How We Use Information
Bonos may use information processed through the services to:
- Authenticate users.
- Validate licenses and product entitlements.
- Maintain authenticated sessions.
- Apply device and account security controls.
- Create and maintain AI Film Director projects.
- Maintain production state and continuity.
- Prevent unauthorized access and abuse.
- Diagnose service errors and maintain service reliability.
- Maintain security and operational audit records.
5. MCP and AI Film Director Tools
Bonos may provide tools through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or other supported integration mechanisms.
Requests sent to Bonos tools may contain information necessary to perform the requested action. For example, starting an AI Film Director project may transmit a film idea, production mode, and optional project title.
Protected production tools perform server-side authorization and license validation before executing protected functionality.
6. Information Sharing
Bonos may disclose information when necessary to operate infrastructure, provide requested services, maintain security, comply with applicable legal obligations, or protect the rights and security of users and the service.
When you use Bonos through a third-party platform, information transmitted between that platform and Bonos may also be processed by that platform according to its own policies.
7. Data Security
Bonos uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect authentication, licensing, and project information.
Security controls may include authenticated access, HTTPS transport, OAuth authorization, server-side license validation, session controls, device controls, access-token validation, and authorization checks for protected production tools.
No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should also protect access to their accounts and devices.
8. Data Retention
Bonos may retain account, licensing, security, audit, and project information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain project continuity, protect the service, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable obligations.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods depending on their purpose and operational requirements.
9. User Requests
Depending on applicable law and the nature of the request, users may contact Bonos regarding questions or requests concerning their information.
Bonos may need to verify the identity of the requester before acting on requests involving account or project information.
Please use the contact method provided on the Support page .
10. Third-Party Services
Bonos services may interact with third-party platforms or infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, and data practices.
This Privacy Policy governs Bonos' processing of information and does not replace the privacy policies of third-party services used by the user.
11. Changes to This Policy
Bonos may update this Privacy Policy as services, legal requirements, or security practices evolve.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
