Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Bonos services, including Bonos License Manager, AI Film Director, related authentication services, and connected production tools.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Bonos services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the applicable Bonos services.

2. Bonos Services

Bonos provides software and services designed to support AI-assisted creative and film-production workflows.

Depending on the service and your entitlement, available functionality may include authentication, license validation, project creation, production-state management, continuity management, and AI Film Director production tools.

3. Account and Authentication

Certain Bonos services require authenticated access.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account, authentication method, and devices used to access the service.

You must not intentionally provide unauthorized persons with access to your authenticated session or account.

4. Licenses and Entitlements

Some Bonos services require a valid Bonos license or entitlement.

Bonos may perform server-side license validation before allowing access to protected functionality.

License validation is an access-control mechanism. A protected production tool may refuse to execute when the required entitlement is unavailable, expired, revoked, or otherwise invalid.

Attempting to bypass, disable, circumvent, or interfere with license enforcement or authentication controls is prohibited.

5. AI Film Director Projects

AI Film Director may create persistent production projects containing project information supplied or generated during use of the service.

Project information may include film ideas, titles, production modes, production stages, project state, continuity information, characters, assets, locations, scenes, and related production information.

Users are responsible for ensuring that material they submit to the service may lawfully be used for their intended purpose.

6. User Content

You retain responsibility for the content, concepts, instructions, reference material, and other information that you provide to Bonos services.

You must not use the services to knowingly submit material that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of another person or organization.

You should not submit confidential or sensitive information unless the applicable Bonos service is intended to process that information and you have an appropriate legal basis to do so.

7. AI-Generated Output

AI-assisted production workflows may generate outputs that require review, editing, verification, or further processing by the user.

Bonos does not represent that every AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, unique, suitable for a specific purpose, or free from errors.

Users are responsible for reviewing generated material before publication, distribution, commercial use, or other external use.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Circumvent authentication, authorization, or license controls.
  • Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to another user's account, project, session, or data.
  • Interfere with the availability, integrity, or security of Bonos infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer or modify protected service components for the purpose of bypassing access controls.
  • Use the service in a manner that violates applicable law.
  • Abuse automated interfaces or authentication mechanisms.

9. Service Availability

Bonos services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, infrastructure issues, security events, network problems, or circumstances outside reasonable operational control.

Bonos may modify, suspend, or discontinue particular functionality as services evolve.

10. Third-Party Services

Bonos services may integrate with or be accessed through third-party platforms, infrastructure, or applications.

Your use of third-party services is also subject to the applicable terms and policies of those providers.

Bonos is not responsible for independent changes to third-party services that may affect an integration.

11. Intellectual Property

Bonos and its applicable software, interfaces, branding, documentation, service architecture, and other materials may be protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Bonos intellectual property to the user.

12. Privacy

Information handled through Bonos services is described in the Bonos Privacy Policy .

13. Security and Unauthorized Access

Bonos may take reasonable measures to protect its infrastructure and users from unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, and security threats.

This may include invalidating sessions, rejecting access tokens, restricting protected tools, or suspending access associated with security violations.

14. Disclaimer

Bonos services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Bonos does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will satisfy every particular creative, technical, commercial, or production requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bonos will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Changes to the Service or Terms

Bonos may update services and these Terms from time to time as products, technology, security practices, or legal requirements change.

The current version of these Terms will be published on this page together with the applicable update date.
